However, fans of the famous Madrid "Real" can relax - we are talking about an 18-year-old Croatian with the same name and surname as his famous compatriot.
This coincidence greatly poisons the life of the young talent and he always ends up in bizarre situations.
"When I meet someone and introduce myself, nobody believes me. I have to immediately pull out my ID card to prove my identity.
People think I'm joking," lamented L. Modrić.
The footballer, who will play in the third strongest league, considers not the famous compatriot, but the "Man Utd" legend as his ideal.
"Congratulations to Modrić, I would like to meet him, but I try to emulate Paul Scholes. I often watch videos on YouTube channels - it's just incomparable."
Indeed, L. Modrić's career may not last long - if necessary, he will play football with us.
