One of the most prominent Serie A forwards of the past five years, Luis Muriel, has moved closer to home.
On Thursday, the 32-year-old Colombian officially joined the MLS (Major League Soccer) team Orlando City.
L. Muriel was a very prominent forward in Italy over the past five years. In the 2020-21 season, representing Atalanta, he scored a remarkable 22 goals and made 9 assists in Serie A in just 36 matches, of which he started only 16.
Over 5 seasons, the forward scored 52 goals and made 21 assists.
Previously in Europe, he also played for the teams Lecce, Udinese, Sampdoria, Sevilla, and Fiorentina.
