London's "Arsenal" official website announced that they have completed negotiations with "Sampdoria" for the acquisition of 22-year-old midfielder Lucas Torreira.
The shining star of the World Cup, Uruguayan national team player, has been in the spotlight of the "Gunners" for a long time. "Arsenal" paid the prospective footballer's release clause agreed in his contract with his former club - 25 million euros.
L. Torreira arrived in Europe to play in 2016. In two seasons with "Sampdoria," the Uruguayan played 74 matches and scored four goals.
