"Leicester City" officially confirmed that they have completed negotiations with "Nice" for the acquisition of defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy. The football player arrived in Leicester and signed a four-year contract.

N. Mendy played for "Nice" club since 2013. Last season, he played 40 matches, scored a goal, provided two assists, and helped the team finish fourth in the "Ligue 1" championship.
"I am very happy to have arrived at "Leicester City," - the Frenchman said his first words in the new club. - This team had a fantastic season and I am glad to be here."
N. Mendy became the third acquisition of "Leicester City" during the offseason. Earlier, the English champions announced the signings of goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler and defender Luis Hernandez.
