"Leicester City" announces that they have acquired "Hull City" defender Harry Maguire for an undisclosed fee. The 24-year-old football player has signed a five-year contract with the "Foxes" and will join the team at the beginning of July - just before their tour in Asia. While the club themselves do not disclose the transfer fee, rumors suggest it is around £17 million. "This is clearly a very exciting time for me," Maguire told LCFC TV. "As soon as I looked at this club, I wanted to join immediately. Fortunately, I am here, so I can't wait for the season to start. "There were a few interested clubs, but when I met the manager here, he more or less tipped the scales in favor of my decision to join this club. He showed me the direction the club is moving in. He is ambitious and has a very promising future, which is the manager's merit. "You can see it from the club's structure - they intend to look up, not down, so it was a significant reason why as soon as I heard about the interest, I wanted to seize this opportunity." During the season in the Premier League, Maguire played 36 matches and undoubtedly was the best defender on his team.
