Lithuanian national team forward Tadas Labukas has signed a contract with the Bergano club. The Norwegian team will be represented by the footballer until the end of the season.
Labukas was a free agent after leaving the Polish team "Arka" from Gdynia. Since mid-June, he participated in a trial with "Brann" and made a good impression on the coaches.
"We have already discussed the possibility of extending the contract for a longer period," said coach Rune Skarsfjord.
Tadas is a player who can be a key striker or form a tandem with another player. In addition, he is a great guy, so he will easily fit into the team.
During his career, Labukas has played for clubs such as Alytus "Dainava", Klaipeda "Atlantas", Moscow's "Dinamo" reserves (Russia), Vilnius "Žalgiris", "Megaron Vyzas" (Greece), Galați "Oțelul" (Romania), and Baku "Inter" (Azerbaijan).
Labukas has represented the Lithuanian national team 12 times.
After 15 rounds in the Norwegian championship, "Brann" is in third place and three points behind the leader "Molde."
