"Liverpool" club officially announced on Tuesday afternoon that they have signed a contract with "Southampton" midfielder Adam Lallana, who wore the England national team jersey at the 2014 World Cup.
The English Premier League runners-up have signed a long-term contract with the 26-year-old footballer, with a transfer fee of 23 million pounds.
"My desire was to play in such a fantastic team, which is in the UEFA Champions League and competes for the Premier League title," said the Englishman after signing the contract.
Last season, A. Lallana scored 10 goals in 42 appearances for "Southampton" and was one of the team's leaders.
This summer, Brendan Rodgers has already acquired three new players. These are Rickie Lambert, Emre Can, and today officially added A. Lallana to the club.
