Official: "Liverpool" buys Alisson for a record sum

"Liverpool" officially confirmed that they acquired 25-year-old Brazilian national team goalkeeper Alisson from "Roma".

"The Reds" shook the transfer market with this purchase - Alisson became the most expensive goalkeeper of all time. "Liverpool" did not hesitate to spend even 75 million euros for him.

"I am extremely happy. This is a dream come true for me - to join such a prestigious and big team, which is constantly among the winners.

This step is very big in my life and professional career. You can be sure that I will give everything for these colors", the goalkeeper said in his first interview.

Brazilian, who signed a permanent contract with "Liverpool", managed to play 64 matches during two years with "Roma".

"Liverpool" has already spent almost 200 million euros on new signings this summer - strengthening the club with Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho, and Naby Keita.
