„Liverpool“ club introduced another newcomer - the team officially announced that they acquired Switzerland national team midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
The 26-year-old player joins the „Reds“ team from the „Stoke City“ club. According to unofficial data, they paid a £13 million buyout fee for him.
Shaqiri arrived in England in 2015 from the “Inter“ club. At that time, he cost £17 million to the „Stoke City“ team.
Last season was the best of Shaqiri's entire career - he scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists in the “Premier League, but he couldn't save the club and „Stoke City“ dropped to a lower division.
