The club has officially confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Sunderland to acquire defender Jordan Henderson. The deal is valued at around 22 million euros.
The 20-year-old footballer has already left for Liverpool, where he will undergo a medical examination and sign the contract. It is expected that all formalities will be completed by Wednesday.
According to unofficial information, as part of the agreement, Liverpool striker David Ngog will also leave Sunderland.
Henderson, who plays as a midfielder and right-back in the English championship, has played 37 matches and scored three goals.
