Dominic Solanke, whose contract with London's Chelsea recently expired, today officially became a member of Liverpool.
The 19-year-old did not break into the first team of the "aristocrats" last season, but he excelled in the U-20 World Cup, where the England team won the gold medal.
The striker is eager to debut at Anfield and hopes to make his mark in the club's history.
"The feeling is amazing, everyone has already made me feel at home," Solanke told the official Liverpool website.
"I was floating on cloud nine even when preparing for training sessions. I hope that in the near future I will be able to put on the main kit and create some history here."
In the mentioned U-20 World Cup, Solanke was recognized as the best player. Previously, this achievement was accomplished by Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, and Paul Pogba.
