Painful failure experienced by "Liverpool" club over the weekend a little unexpectedly announced the arrival of their first newcomer.
On the official "red" website, the acquisition of 24-year-old "Monaco" defender Fabinho was announced. Reports of the Brazilian's move to Liverpool only spread this evening.
It is reported that the Brazilian has signed a long-term contract with Liverpool. According to various sources, the Champions League finalists paid 50-55 million euros for the versatile player.
"This is what I have always dreamed of - joining a great team. I will try to create my own history in this club. Hopefully, I can fulfill both my ambitions and the team's ambitions - to win titles," said Fabinho in his first interview.
Playing both as a full-back and defensive midfielder, Fabinho has played for "Monaco" for the past five years. In total, he has played 230 matches for the French team and scored 31 goals.
In the past, Fabinho has also played for "Rio Ave" and the reserve team of "Real Madrid."
