The most famous German club of all time, Bayern Munich, today confirmed that next year we will see the 2002 World Champion, Brazilian Lucio, in the team.
Brazil has signed a three-year contract with Bayern, and the amount that the Munich club will pay Bayer Leverkusen is not disclosed.
This 26-year-old defender became Bayern's second purchase this season. Before that, Bayern signed a contract with Iranian Vahid Hashemian, who represented the "Bochum" team last season.
Next year, the new coach Felix Magath will lead the four-time European champions, replacing the dismissed Ottmar Hitzfeld.
Having finished second last season, Bayern may sell one of the team's stars, Michael Ballack, who is being sought after by the Spanish giants.
