Mikel Arteta will wear the blue Liverpool jersey next season. The English team will pay £2 million for the 23-year-old Spaniard.
Last season, the footballer was loaned to Liverpool and, successfully competing, helped Everton unexpectedly finish in 4th place in the English Premier League. He signed a five-year contract with Liverpool.
"I am very pleased. I have been waiting for this for almost two months," rejoiced M. Arteta. "Although there were various rumors, my thoughts were always with Everton."
The English team is intensively strengthening for the upcoming season. This summer, the club has already acquired three players - Simon Davies, John Rudy, and Per Koldrup.
In the Everton squad, M. Arteta played 13 matches last season and scored 1 goal.
