New contract signings at Madrid's "Real" club don't stop - just a few hours after Raphael Varane put his signature on a new contract, the "white" club announced that Marco Asensio will be the next player to follow the French example.
It is announced on the official website that the contract with the rising soccer star will be extended until 2023. The Spaniard will earn a salary twice as much as he did until now, and also have an impressive release clause in his contract - 500 million euros.
M. Asensio will officially sign the new contract tomorrow at 15:00 Lithuanian time at the headquarters of the Madrid club and will speak at a press conference afterwards.
Last season, the 21-year-old winger successfully joined the main team and this season is gradually becoming a regular starter.
This season, M. Asensio has already played 10 matches, scored four goals, and made one assist.
