26-year-old forward Mario Balotelli's transfer saga is over.
"Nice" officially announced that they acquired M. Balotelli from "Liverpool." The "Ligue 1" representatives did not have to pay a single euro for the football player, as the forward strengthened "Nice" as a free agent.
The official statement stated that M. Balotelli will start training with the team tomorrow, and will be presented to the media on Friday.
M. Balotelli joined "Liverpool" in 2014. The "Reds" were disappointed with their purchase of the forward for 16 million pounds sterling - in his first season, he scored four goals in 28 matches and was loaned out to "Milan" in the following season.
This summer, the Italian returned to Liverpool, but from the beginning, Jurgen Klopp told the forward that he did not see his future in the club.
