Michael Carrick stays in the "Man Utd" team.
It has been officially announced that the veteran has signed a new one-year contract.
Before the decade came to an end, the defender who arrived from the "Tottenham" team to Manchester managed to win many titles - he became the champion of the Premier League five times and triumphed in the UEFA Champions League once.
"I am very happy to continue my journey in this club. I will have a great opportunity to work together with coach Jose Mourinho, who has achieved a lot in his career," said M. Carrick.
"I thank the fans for their support. Winning the FA Cup was a special moment and I hope that in the future we will compete for even more trophies."
J. Mourinho said:
