London's "Tottenham" strengthened their defense ahead of the upcoming season. Last Sunday, the "Spurs" officially announced the acquisition of Wolves right-back Matt Doherty, who signed a four-year contract with Tottenham. The North London club paid approximately 15 million pounds for the 28-year-old Irishman. "I am extremely happy. This is probably the best day of my career," said M. Doherty after signing the contract. The Wolves defender played 50 games last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
