London's "Crystal Palace" official website announced that they have signed a one-year contract with 32-year-old midfielder Mathieu Flamini.
M. Flamini has defended the honor of London's "Arsenal" club for the past three seasons, but his contract ended this summer and the "Gunners" did not want to extend it with the Frenchman.
The footballer became a free agent on June 30 and could sign a contract with any club. However, the search for a new team lasted until September 8.
In total, M. Flamini played 168 matches in the English Premier League wearing "Arsenal" colors.
