Manolo Gabbiadini's career in the English Premier League has come to an end - the 27-year-old sniper is returning to play in his homeland.
Genoa's Sampdoria website has reported that M. Gabbiadini was acquired from Southampton for a fee of 12 million euros. The Italian has signed a contract for four and a half years.
M. Gabbiadini played for Southampton from the winter of 2017. He was bought from Napoli for 15 million pounds. In total, the forward played 55 matches in the Saints' ranks, scored 12 goals, and helped the team reach the finals of the English League Cup.
The walls of Sampdoria's club are very familiar to the Italian - he spent two seasons here before moving to Napoli.
Prior to that, M. Gabbiadini has also worn the shirts of Atalanta and Bologna clubs in Italy.
