Mauro Icardi drama has ended - the 26-year-old striker will spend the upcoming season in the Paris "Saint-Germain" team.
The Argentine is on loan to the French champions with the option to become a full player next summer. Before departing for Paris, M. Icardi agreed to extend his contract with Milan's "Inter" until 2022.
PSG, wanting to buy out the player's contract, will have to pay 70 million euros next summer.
"Inter" wanted to get rid of the striker already at the beginning of the summer, but he still hoped to earn Antonio Conte's trust and return to the starting position.
M. Icardi defended the colors of "Inter" since 2013. The former captain played a total of 219 matches and scored 124 goals by the middle of last season.
PSG acquired nine new players this summer: in addition to M. Icardi, Keylor Navas, Ander Herrera, Pablo Sarabia, Marcin Bulka, Sergio Rico, Idrissa Gueye, Abdou Diallo, and Mitchel Bakker also arrived.
