Spain's vice-champions, Madrid's "Real" team, will be joined by Milan's "Inter" midfielder Mateo Kovacic, the club announces in an official statement.
The clubs reached an agreement last weekend. It is believed that Kovacic's transfer to "Real" will cost about 35 million euros, and he will sign a six-year contract.
The 21-year-old Croatian has been playing for "Inter" since the winter of 2013 and has become an important player for the team during that time. Unfortunately, this summer, with the arrival of midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia to "Inter," the club was forced to sell Kovacic in order to comply with Financial Fair Play rules.
Kovacic will undergo a medical examination tomorrow and will be presented as a "Real" player.
