Italian champion Juventus announced on the official website that they have signed a four-year contract with Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandžukić.
It is reported that Juventus paid 19 million euros for the 29-year-old footballer, with that amount potentially increasing to 21 million euros depending on Mandžukić's achievements.
The Croatian national team member successfully underwent his medical examination in the morning. After the footballer's arrival, it is certain that Carlos Tevez will return to his homeland to join the Boca Juniors team.
Mandžukić becomes the second purchase for Juventus this summer. Earlier, they announced the acquisition of Palermo striker Paulo Dybala.
During his season with Atletico, the striker played 42 matches and scored 20 goals.
