"Juventus" today officially confirmed that their first purchase of this summer has become "Roma" defender Miralem Pjanic.
It is reported that the Italian champions have signed a five-year contract with the 26-year-old footballer. "Roma" will receive 32 million euros for the leader of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
"I always thought that I am capable of playing in such a big club," - said M. Pjanic after signing the contract. - "The atmosphere at this club's stadium is fantastic. I am very happy that from this day on I will be wearing the "Juventus" jersey."
The defender was linked with "Barcelona" and several English "Premier League" clubs during the season, but after receiving an offer from "Juventus", the Bosnian decided to stay in Italy.
M. Pjanic has been defending the honor of the "Roma" team since 2011. During this period, he managed to play 185 matches and score 30 goals.
