The Paris "Saint-Germain" club announced that they have dismissed their head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, who spent half a year with the team. The Argentine met with PSG management at the beginning of June, and the review of the 2021/22 season resulted in the decision that Pochettino would no longer fulfill the duties of head coach, but the dismissal process was only completed in July. PSG announced on Twitter: "Mauricio Pochettino has ended his work at the club. The club would like to thank Mauricio Pochettino and his staff for their work and wish them success in the future."
Argentine won the "Ligue 1" championship last season, but that was not enough for the management, and the elimination in the Champions League quarterfinals is the main reason why the coach had to say goodbye to PSG.
