"Manchester United" announced on Monday that one of the team's leaders, Marcus Rashford, has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 21-year-old Englishman put pen to paper on a four-year deal, with the option to extend for another season.
"Manchester United" means a lot to me since I arrived here at the age of seven. This club has shaped me both as a footballer and as a person. It is a huge honor to wear the jersey of this team," Rashford said after signing the contract.
"I want to thank Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the entire coaching staff for what they provide me. They are all great coaches with whom I can continue to improve and reach even higher levels.
I will give everything to help this club return to where it belongs," added the forward.
According to unofficial data, the promising Englishman's salary will be around 250 thousand pounds sterling per week.
Rashford is a graduate of the "Man Utd" academy and has already played 170 matches and scored 45 goals for the first team.
