Official: M. Sarri leaves the "Napoli" team, he will be replaced by C. Ancelotti

Last season, Carlo Ancelotti, who was released from Bayern Munich, will start the next season in his hometown - it is reported that he has reached an agreement with Napoli team.

According to various sources, the Italian met with the team on Tuesday and discussed the possibility of working with the Napoli team. After the discussions took place, an agreement was reached, but both sides have not yet signed the contract.

The search for a new coach for Napoli started after the current team strategist Maurizio Sarri refused to extend his contract with the club. The strategist who has worked with the team for the past three years is expected to move to Chelsea, where he would replace compatriot Antonio Conte.

C. Ancelotti was left without a job last September, when Bayern decided to part ways with the coach after an unsuccessful start to the season. However, the German team continues to pay him the salary specified in the contract, so the 58-year-old coach should start working at Napoli after the end of this contract – on the first day of July.

The departure of M. Sarri from Napoli was confirmed by the team's president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who thanked the coach on his official Twitter account for his year at the club and praised him for the work done with the Napoli team.
