The search for a coach in the London club "Chelsea" did not last long - it was officially announced that Maurizio Sarri will coach the team from the next season.
The arrival of the 59-year-old strategist to the "Blues" ranks has been known for some time, but "Chelsea" did not announce this information until finally yesterday they officially dismissed another Italian specialist - Antonio Conte.
The official statement mentions that a three-year contract has been signed with the coach.
M. Sarri started his coaching career in 2005, but he started to be evaluated in the football community only a few years ago when the team he managed, "Napoli," demonstrated attractive football.
The specialist was close to leading "Napoli" to the top of "Serie A" last season, but Turin's "Juventus" ultimately still won the battle for the main prize.
In addition to "Napoli," M. Sarri has also coached "Empoli," "Pescara," "Hellas Verona," and other less known Italian clubs during his career.
It is said that shortly after the announcement of M. Sarri, "Chelsea" will also announce the acquisition of another representative of "Napoli" - Jorginho is already one foot in as a "Blue" player.
