Milano "Inter" officially announced that they have acquired midfielder Matias Vecino from Fiorentina in Florence. We already wrote about this transfer the day before yesterday.
The "fashion capital" club agreed to pay the 24 million euro release clause specified in the Uruguayan's contract, and he has been tied to "nerazzurri" until 2021.
The 25-year-old footballer played a total of 85 matches in the ranks of "Viola", in which he scored six goals and provided eight assists.
"I am happy to join and it is a great honor for me," Vecino told the official Inter website.
"I have been playing in Italy for the past couple of years. I am at a good age and have the necessary experience. I believe I will enjoy my time here."
Vecino followed in the footsteps of another Fiorentina midfielder, Borja Valero, and believes in not only his own success, but also his success in the Inter team.
