Official: "Man City" Acquires Australian National Team Defender

"Manchester City" officially announced that they have acquired 25-year-old Australian national team midfielder Aaron Mooy from their subsidiary team "Melbourne City".

Mooy, who grew up in the academy of "Bolton Wanderers" and began his professional career, has been wearing the colors of "Melbourne City" for the past two years. His abilities did not go unnoticed by the directors of "Man City", and a three-year contract was signed with the player.

"Aaron is very talented. We hope that he will successfully integrate into the "Manchester City" community," said Brian Marwood, general director of the entire "City" community.

Starting his career in England, A. Mooy wore the jersey of "St Mirren" in Scotland from 2010-12. Later, the Australian returned to his homeland and represented the "Western Sydney" club for two years.

Last season, A. Mooy played 30 matches for "Melbourne City", scored 17 goals, and provided 10 assists.
