"Man City" team has acquired its fifth summer newcomer.
"Citizens" brought in Madrid's "Real" defender Danilo for 30 million euros.
This amount could potentially increase by another 5 million euros in the future.
Danilo will join his new team mates in Los Angeles in the coming days and there is a good chance he could make his debut with the "citizens" on Wednesday. Ironically, they will be playing against "Real" on that day.
Brazilian City coach Pep Guardiola showed interest in Danilo at the end of last season, but at that time he did not want to leave Madrid. Later on, after Manchester's deal with Dani Alves fell through and he moved to Turin's "Juventus", Danilo was willing to join City.
However, "bianconeri" eventually pulled out of the deal, allowing City to acquire Danilo now.
