„Manchester City“ officially announced on Thursday that the head coach of the team, Pep Guardiola, has put his signature under a new contract. The new 49-year-old Spaniard's contract with the „Citizens“ will be valid until the summer of 2023. The old P. Guardiola's contract would have expired in 2021. „The support I have in this club is the best that can happen to a coach. I have all the conditions needed to achieve the highest results. Our goal is to continue to improve and not stand still. I am extremely happy that I will be able to continue helping this club move forward“, said P. Guardiola after signing the contract. The Spaniard took the reins of „Man City“ in 2016.
