"Manchester United" announced their first newcomer - Brazilian national team defender Fred.
On the official "Red Devils" website, it is stated that the club has reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for the acquisition of the 25-year-old footballer, who will soon arrive in Manchester to sign the contract.
According to unofficial data, "Man Utd" paid 60 million euros for the Brazilian midfielder known for his ball control skills. He had also caught the attention of the "Manchester City" team for some time.
Fred has been playing in Ukraine since 2013. During his time at Shakhtar, the Brazilian played 156 matches and scored 14 goals. He began his career as a defender at the "Internacional" team.
