Bruno Fernandes' future question has officially been resolved - "Manchester United" confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Lisbon's "Sporting".
The 25-year-old midfielder's name was unexpectedly linked with "Barcelona" on Tuesday, but, as the press speculates, it was just a trick by Jorge Mendes to speed up negotiations for the "Red Devils".
"Sporting" confirmed that "Man Utd" will pay €55 million for the player. The total transfer amount could reach €80 million - another €25 million could potentially be paid as bonuses.
B. Fernandes has been linked with "Man Utd" for several months now - the Portuguese midfielder hoped to end up in the English Premier League already last summer.
The Portuguese spent three years in the "Sporting" team. During that time, he appeared 137 times and scored 67 goals.
Prior to that, B. Fernandes gained experience in Italy - representing the teams of "Novara", "Udinese", and "Sampdoria".
