"Manchester United" officially confirmed that they have extended their collaboration with Phil Jones for another 4.5 years. The 26-year-old defender's contract with the "Red Devils" was set to expire after this season, but "Man Utd" decided not to part ways with the footballer and agreed on a contract that will be valid until the summer of 2023. P. Jones has been wearing the "Man Utd" jersey since 2011. He was acquired from the "Blackburn" team for £16.5 million. "I've spent the last eight years here and I love everything about this club," said P. Jones in his interview. "I can't wait for the new challenges that await us in the rest of this season." The Englishman has played a total of 208 matches in the "Man Utd" club and scored five goals. Throughout his career, P. Jones once became an English champion and also won the Europa League trophy.
We are pleased to announce @PhilJones4 has signed a new contract with #MUFC.
