"Manchester City" announced that Riyad Mahrez has signed a new two-year contract, which will be valid until June 2025. The Algerian national team winger joined the "Citizens" in the summer of 2018 from the "Leicester City" team. During his four seasons at the club, Mahrez helped "City" win three Premier League titles, three League Cups, an FA Cup, and reach the first Champions League final for this team. "I am very happy to sign a new contract", Mahrez said. "I have enjoyed every minute spent here. It is great to be part of such an incredible club. Helping us achieve the success we have enjoyed over the past four seasons was unforgettable and made us all want to achieve even more." So far, Mahrez has played 189 matches for the club, scored 63 goals, and provided 45 assists.
