„Manchester City“ officially signed Valencia club defender Nicolas Otamendi.
The 27-year-old Argentine signed a five-year contract with the English vice-champions. According to „Sky Sports“ sources, the transfer fee is 31.7 million pounds sterling.
N. Otamendi spent one season at Valencia, but he was very successful. The defender scored 6 goals and was selected for the best „La Liga“ team of the year.
He began his career at his native Argentina's „Velez Sarsfield“ club, and in 2010 moved to „Porto“. That same year, the defender represented his national team in the World Cup in South Africa.
