Croatian national team forward Mario Mandzukic has signed a four-year contract with the Munich club.
So far, the footballer who has worn the jerseys of the German vice-champions has cost about 13 million euros.
"We are very happy that the deal went through. Mario wanted to move to a top-level team," said the 26-year-old Croatian's agent Ivan Cvjetkovic. "We did everything logically and correctly - after two years at 'Wolfsburg,' it was time to take a step forward."
Earning about 3.5 million euros per season in the European championships, Mandzukic scored three goals and attracted the attention of clubs like Turin's Juventus, Man Utd, and Liverpool's Everton.
Last season in the German championship, he scored 12 goals in 32 matches.
