Official: M.Benatia joins Bayern team, Roma acquires K.Manolas

Bayern Munich's team officially announced that they have reached an agreement on the buyout of Roma defender Mehdi Benatia.

The Bavarians had to look for a replacement after the serious injury of Javi Martinez.

The Moroccan national team footballer will sign a five-year contract with the German champions.

It is estimated that the transfer fee for the 27-year-old player will be around 30-35 million euros.

In the past, M.Benatia has also played for Marseille, Tours, Lorient, Clermont, and Udinese clubs.

Roma club did not actively seek a replacement for the Moroccan player - Olympiacos' young defender Kostas Manolas was acquired by the Italian vice-champions from Piraeus.

It is reported that the Greek player, who is being sought after by London's Arsenal, cost 13 million euros to the Italian capital's team.
