Official: Mexican H. Moreno becomes the first "Roma" newcomer

"Roma" announced on their official website that this summer, the 29-year-old Mexican national team center-back Hector Moreno became the first new recruit of the team.

The experienced defender, who spent the last two seasons at PSV Eindhoven, reached an agreement with the Italian vice champions for a four-year contract.

"I am very happy to have signed a contract with "Roma", - said the defender, who became the first Mexican to wear the "Roma" jersey. - I face a big step forward in my career. I hope to demonstrate my abilities and contribute to the team's success."

Before moving to PSV, H. Moreno wore the colors of Barcelona's "Espanyol" for four seasons, as well as spending an equal number of seasons at AZ. The footballer started his career at home, in the "UNAM" club.

Last season, H. Moreno played 39 matches for PSV and scored seven goals.
