Official: "Milan" outbids "Chelsea" in the battle for F. Kessie's acquisition

New owners of "Milan" continue shopping - 20-year-old midfielder Franck Kessie, who had a successful season in the Italian league, has become the new "Rossoneri" acquisition.

The defensive midfielder from the Ivory Coast national team signed a two-year loan agreement with "Milan". The club reached an agreement with "Atalanta" that the player would spend the first two seasons in Milan on loan, but the club could acquire all rights to him by 2019.

This summer, F. Kessie was also being chased by other top European clubs. Antonio Conte from "Chelsea" and "Manchester United" were particularly interested in the African player.

One of the most ball-winning players in the Serie A last season, he played 31 matches for "Atalanta", scoring seven goals and making four assists.

Milan's team has already acquired two new players even before the transfer window opens - they also signed a contract with "Villarreal" center-back Mateo Musacchio.
