The goalkeeper of the German national team Manuel Neuer has signed a five-year contract with the Munich club.
Neuer, who wore the shirts of Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke" last season, is moving to Bayern's team for approximately 18 million euros.
"I am German, and 'Bayern' is the best club in the country," said the 25-year-old Neuer, adding that he never considered the possibility of moving abroad.
The deal was announced last week, but all formalities, such as medical check-ups and signing the contracts, were completed on Wednesday.
