„Swansea City“ team was supplemented by „Saint Etienne“ defender Franck Tabanou for an undisclosed fee. The player, who plays on the left side and has represented the French youth national team, became the second purchase by the „Swans“. Earlier, the team signed a contract with Andre Ayew, who previously played for „Marseille“. It is estimated that the transfer fee for Tabanou should be around 5 million euros. The Frenchman has signed a three-year contract with the team led by Garry Monk. This season, the 26-year-old player appeared in 43 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing five assists. Tabanou has never played for a foreign club before, and „Swansea“ will be his first club abroad.
