The player himself signed a contract for at least four years and will play for "Newcastle" until the summer of 2025.
"I am very happy to be here. I understand that the club invested huge money in me, so I feel a huge responsibility.
"I am extremely motivated and hope to live up to the expectations placed on me," Joelinton said after signing the contract.
Brazil played 35 games for "Hoffenheim" last season, scoring 11 goals.
