"Newcastle" and "West Brom" have agreed on player exchanges - Salomon Rondon is returning to the Premier League, while Dwight Gayle will miss out on the Championship next season.
The clubs have agreed on a one-year loan deal - at the end of the season, players will return to their clubs unless decisions are made during the season.
S. Rondon scored 10 goals in 39 matches for "West Brom" last season. The Venezuelan has spent three seasons in the Premier League and may not taste Championship football.
D. Gayle started the 2017-18 season well with "Magpies", but his form later deteriorated and "Newcastle" decided not to trust him for the season.
"Newcastle" will start their season in England on Saturday with a match against "Tottenham".
