Today, Newcastle United has officially acquired Fabian Schar from La Coruña's "Deportivo" and will soon welcome another newcomer.
The "Mainz" club announced that they have agreed to sell forward Yoshinori Muto to the "Magpies," who has been playing in Europe since 2015.
Since his transfer from "FC Tokyo," the Japanese national team forward has played 71 matches with the German team's jersey and scored 23 goals.
Now, Muto has already finalized personal contract details with Newcastle, and his transfer will be completed as soon as technical details are sorted out.
Rafa Benitez's team has also added goalkeeper Martin Dubravka and defender Ki Sung-Yeung during this offseason, in addition to Schar. Meanwhile, Mikel Merino and Chancel Mbemba have moved to other teams.
