Brazilian football talent Neymar has officially become a player of Barcelona. The Catalan club finally revealed the player's price: 57 million euros will be paid, which will be distributed to the "Santos" team, the company "DIS" and the investors group "Teisa" over the next five years.

On Monday afternoon, the forward signed a five-year contract with Barcelona at the club's headquarters, valid until the summer of 2018. Prior to that, other formalities were arranged, such as a medical examination, after which it was confirmed that the 21-year-old Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, who is 174 centimeters tall and weighs 64.5 kilograms, is completely healthy.

The Spanish champions traditionally "armored" their new star with an impressive release clause. It amounts to 190 million euros. Any other team wishing to acquire the forward without direct negotiations with Barcelona would have to pay this amount.

It was also agreed that Barcelona and Santos will play two friendly matches. One match will take place at Camp Nou stadium, the other in Brazil. The Catalan club also obtained priority rights to three Santos players optionally, if the Spanish champions express interest and wish to acquire them.

According to unofficial data, Neymar will earn about 7 million euros per season.

The presentation ceremony of the new Barcelona player at Camp Nou stadium was attended by 334 accredited journalists, and more than 55,000 fans watched it from the stands.
