Leverkusen's "Bayer" announced on Thursday that the club has extended the contract with one of the most productive last season's "Bundesliga" players Patrik Schick. The 26-year-old Czech has agreed on a new five-year deal with the German club. "I feel very good in this team, but most importantly, the club has very high ambitions," said the striker after signing the contract. Last season, P. Schick scored 24 goals in the "Bundesliga" and was only surpassed by Munich's "Bayern" forward leader Robert Lewandowski.
