Officially announced that they acquired the remaining economic rights to Velez Sarsfield defender Nicolas Otamendi for 4 million euros.
The Argentine added to the ranks of the Portuguese team last season when Porto bought half of his rights. Now Velez Sarsfield has taken advantage of the opportunity to sell their share.
Otamendi helped Porto win the Portuguese championship, the country's cup, and the UEFA Europa League tournament.
The 23-year-old footballer also represented the Argentina national team in the 2010 World Cup.
