The team of Paris Saint-Germain will be able to celebrate another title. The portal "Goal" reported, and later it was officially confirmed, that due to the threat of coronavirus, the 2019/2020 league was stopped, and Thomas Tuchel's players will be awarded the title of champions of "Ligue 1". PSG was leading the championship before the matches were suspended in the highest league of the country. The situation particularly affected the "Lyon" club, which for the first time since 1997 failed to qualify for any European tournament. In the upcoming season, PSG, "Marseille", and "Rennes" teams will be able to compete in the Champions League, while "Lille", "Reims", and "Nice" clubs will participate in the Europa League. "Amiens" and "Toulouse" teams were relegated to "Ligue 2", and "Lorient" (the champion of "Ligue 2") and "Lens" were promoted to the top league.
